No unsolicited contact
Brokers are prohibited from sending check-in emails, load solicitations, or any direct contact outside the platform. Violations are reportable and on record.
Your data stays on platform
Brokers cannot share, sell, or use your information for any purpose beyond the shipment at hand. Data protection is a signed commitment, not a policy checkbox.
Response within 24–36 hours
Participating brokers commit to quoting within 24–36 hours. You post, they respond — no chasing, no following up.
What you agree to as a shipper
The same document — your side of it.
- Pay invoices promptly within the agreed terms. Late payments may incur interest and can result in suspension of platform access.
- Give all Partner Program Members an equal opportunity to quote. No pre-selecting before the window closes.
- Communicate any shipment changes through the platform within 24 hours. Keep brokers informed the same way you expect them to keep you informed.
- Submit accurate load details — weight, origin, destination, freight class. Brokers quote based on what you post.

> Broker commitments
- Provide freight quotes within 24–36 hours of load creation, unless it is a holiday or weekend.
- Specify the exact expiry time of your quote if it differs from the 30-day standard.
- Do not send "general check-in" or "load request" emails to FreightBox shippers or members. Violation may result in suspension or termination of platform access.
- Keep all information confidential. Absolutely no selling of FreightBox's or its users' data or information. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Rely on the system for rate feedback. Checking in with shippers about rate performance outside the platform is strictly prohibited.
> Shipper commitments
- Pay invoices promptly within the specified terms. Late payments may incur interest and can result in suspension.
- Provide equal quoting opportunities to all Partner Program Members.
- Communicate any shipment changes via the platform within 24 hours.
- Provide true, accurate, and detailed information when submitting a load rate request.
> Carrier commitments
- Adhere to scheduled pickup and delivery times.
- Maintain up-to-date insurance coverage and provide proof upon request.
- Provide accurate and timely shipment status updates through the platform.
- Comply with all applicable local and federal transportation, safety, and labor laws.

FreightBox serves as a platform connecting vetted shippers with qualified brokers and carriers, facilitating logistics partnerships. We are not a freight brokerage firm and do not participate in agreements or transactions made between shippers, brokers, and carriers. Users are responsible for conducting their due diligence and ensuring the terms of any agreements meet their requirements. FreightBox disclaims liability for any transactions facilitated through the platform.
> Reporting violations
As a FreightBox Network member, you agree to report any violations to [email protected]. Forward the offending email directly from your inbox — no subject or message needed. FreightBox investigates all reported violations and takes appropriate action, up to and including termination of membership.
> Dispute resolution
Disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration as agreed upon by the parties, to avoid litigation.
> Governing law
This Code of Conduct is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and applicable federal law.
